Sarah’s career has seen her work in a wide range of areas within the company and she is committed to providing education about audiology and keeping abreast of current audiology trends.
Sarah practiced audiology for almost 12 years prior to her current role. Her experience lies within practice of diagnostic audiology, irrigation & micro-suction procedures. The provision & application of aural rehabilitation is Sarah’s passion.
As technology continues to grow, Sarah is ensuring that Hidden Hearing are building and nurturing centres of excellence and ensuring all our team have the competency and skills required to ensure our patients the very best experience.
“We want a patient centric approach where we encourage multidisciplinary approaches to hearing health care to ensure the best outcome of support for our patients. Developing relationships with our general practitioners will help develop their position as gate keepers and build on their use of audiology services within our country,” says Sarah.
When it comes to the future of audiology, Sarah believes that audiology standards and delivery of service care have really taken a paradigm shift in recent years. Education and awareness of hearing health and understanding the impact of hearing loss on quality of life are vastly expanding. This is a fantastic development as together we can help to reshape the way that people view and address hearing loss and make it part of the wider conversation.
