Get a free hearing aid in Ireland - covered by the PRSI hearing aid grant
You could be entitled to free hearing aids through the PRSI government scheme; however, it’s important to get expert advice for the right device. At Hidden Hearing, our expert audiologists can steer you in the right direction. We will prescribe the most suitable hearing aids available to treat your hearing loss and assist you in applying for benefits under the scheme. The PRSI Treatment Benefit Scheme covers the cost of hearing aids up to €1,000. Public support for hearing aids varies from year to year.
The full cost of a hearing aid up to a maximum of €500 (€1,000 for a pair) once every fourth calendar year.
Hearing Aid Repair Grant
Your Hidden Hearing hearing aids may need a little care and repair from time to time. Did you know you can claim a PRSI grant towards the cost of repairing your hearing aids? The DSP pays the full cost of a hearing aid up to a maximum of €500 (€1,000 for a pair) once every 4 years. It also pays the full cost of repairs to aids, up to a maximum of €100.

How can I claim this benefit?
Hidden hearing is an approved supplier of the hearing aid grant scheme, and we are familiar with the application process. We know that application forms can be tedious, and we regularly help our patients complete and submit their Treatment Benefit Scheme application.
If you have moderate, severe or profound hearing loss, we recommend custom-built hearing aids with advanced hearing aids with advanced technology to suit you hearing loss. You may need to supplement the purchase price. PRSI Contributions criteria varies.
